"...creative adventures await...music and film work so well together with integral relationships between picture and sound, music playing the emotions like a complex instrument, supporting, telegraphing, misleading, shocking, charming, exciting, underpinning the story that the imagery carries. It's the finest art form of the last 100 years..."
Greg Patmore 2007
Greg is a gifted composer, orchestrator and conductor with a particular passion for film making – so much so that he also has several professional acting credits to his name in both film and TV in the UK.
His work encompasses several genres including suspense, horror, action, romance, science fiction, comedy and adventure. Typically his music crosses boundaries utilising sound design and contemporary mixing techniques alongside traditional scoring and a variety of cross-cultural influences. The result is dramatic, powerful, exciting, breathtakingly tender and emotional music that synchronises perfectly with the most demanding of film projects and is always sensitive to a director’s overall artistic vision.
Greg graduated from Goldsmith’s College, London, in 1985 where he studied music composition with Edward Gregson, Stanley Glasser and Melanie Daiken. He also studied film scoring with Don Ray of CBS Television/UCLA
