Thomas Beckner

Thomas Beckner has a degree in music from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he studied jazz piano, composition, synthesis and recording.  He has worked as a musical director and accompanist for many musical theatre and dance productions, as well as teaching and composing in his home studio. For eight years Tom toured with comedian Bob Nelson.  Bob is known for his cast of zany characters to which Tom provided musical accompaniment.  They appeared together on "Caroline's Comedy Hour" on A&E,  and Tom wrote music for a children’s t.v. show called "The Laugh A Lot Club" starring Bob Nelson and Peter Pitofsky.    Tom has now stopped touring and works in his  studio recording production music in a variety of styles.
